Freeman On The Land, Libertarian or Anarchy

I often use the terms Freeman on the Land or Libertarian  interchanAnarchygeably, however, in the strictest sense they aren’t.  I’ll attempt to bring some understanding into the differences and why I group both groups together with the Anarchists.  All three groups are quite different but all three also have some key similarities that makes it possible at times to place them together.

The Freeman on the Land concepts are often quite radical and insist on the killing of the legal person.  Often these folks strive to become what is referred to as “Illegal Aliens” by removing any and all references to their legal entity from the government system.  Frequently these folks flood the public offices and trustees with letters, usually requesting permission to be liberated from the database and that these trustees reply with recognition of their new “sovereign” status.

Libertarians on the other hand try to operate within the system to elect a new group of employees that will rewrite the laws that they agree to follow in a manner that respects their liberties.  Essentially they are asking for the existing system to retreat from their dictatorial control and return to how it was decades ago.  They are often represented by politicians such as Ron Paul and the Tea Party.

Anarchists are again another “political” group who simply want the whole system shut down and all government disbanded.  This group is perhaps the most misunderstood and has been known to me the longest.  Anarchy isn’t as the media advertises where all hell breaks loose and everyone’s life is in constant threat of loss.  Popular movies such as the Mad Max series were written to instill fear against the anarchy concepts but they are totally imaginary.  Anarchy has, whenever it existed in the past, has been the most peaceful system on this planet of any and all other governing systems tried.  Anarchy is self rule where everyone is wholly responsible for their own actions.  There is no ruling authorities but there are justice systems that actually work when needed.  These systems are typically temporary and assembled on an as needed basis.  Other social matters such as health care, defense (war), road and infrastructure development, all of them are not maintained on an ongoing basis with permanent employees overseeing them as they never require such attention.

Personally I am more of an Anarchist than anything although I do agree with parts of them all.  I use them interchangeably at times as they all want more personal freedoms for each and every human on earth.  They want an end to corporate greed and destruction of the planet.  They all want the planet to be allowed to heal and an end to needless warfare and weapons construction.  They all want “peace on earth and goodwill toward men” so I support them all.  If you want an example of an Anarchist system at work I suggest you watch the Youtube video on Max Nebraska as it is a current town in operation without corporate governance.

I also suggest you actually do some research into these different ideologies and talk to real people who support each one.  By doing this you will gain understanding of each and you will develop your own beliefs and ideologies.  From there you can better focus your efforts on which manner you would like to work to correct the corrupt systems around us.  You will be able to spend less time running in circles and more time effectively working toward a goal.  All of these systems can exist at the same time as they aren’t threatening of each other.  All of these systems can work together to eliminate corrupt governance and corporations.  As such let’s all work together to correct the world around us in peace and understanding.
